Maya Malava Gowla

Mayamalava Gowla is the 15th Melakartha raga. The highlight of  this raga is that , this is the first Raga, every music students learn as per the current syllabus of the learning pattern of  Carnatic Music. It's equivalent in Hindusthani is Bhairav Dhatt.

* Note: It is believed that, when Muthuswami Deekshithar was on meditation in Thiruthani Temple, Lord Sree Murugan  gave him "Darshan" and at that memorable event, he composed "Sree Nathadi Guruguho" and it is believed to be the first composition of Muthuswami Deekshithar.
